Ollie Tiglao

Mr Tiglao won the NAGA Hawaii Oct 11, 2008 which ranked him #1 nationally in that division. He also won the 2007 Western Regionals. Marcelo drove him to Oregon and coached him through the finals and all his hard work paid off because he won! He has placed 2nd and 3rd in several BJJ competitions and has the medals to prove it.

Mr. Tiglao has competed in several Karate and Tae Kwon Do Tournaments; earning 2nd in state for TKD and I also took 3rd in state for Hapkido. He took 3rd at Nationals held at the Tropicana Pavilion in Vegas.

He originally met Marcelo in 1998 when he sponsored  a seminar for Carlson Sr and Jr. He was interested in starting to train at that time but he couldn't. He finally was able to join in 2001 and began to really commit to his studies in 2004-2005. He is currently a Purple Belt under Marcelo.

Mr. Tiglao has a Black Belt in Karate/Tae Kwon Do and earned that rank some 13 years ago. Just please don't ask him to do Poomse! LOL
