Shawn Gaspaire

Shawn Gaspaire is currently a high school wrestling coach who has been wrestling and coaching for over 16 years. He has coached multiple league and regional champions, several state placers and 3 consecutive league wrestling team titles. Shawn wrestled for Yakima Valley Community College and Central Washington University.

Shawn began training BJJ and MMA with Eric Dahlberg black belt Robert Owens of Brazilian JJ of Olympia, former King of Cage and IFL fighter Joey “The Coyote” Guel, and MABJJ brown belt Nick Laudenglos. Since the inception of the FJJWC, Shawn has been training solely with Marcelo Alonso and Wally Rivera. Shawn has been fortunate enough to have a select group of skills which allows him to be invited to several gyms to help train with professional fighters. Shawn would like to thank Wally Rivera, Nick Laudenglos and Marcelo Alonso, of MABJJ.com, for helping shape him into a BJJ practitioner and improving his overall lifestyle.
